Sue Smith, of Blackfoot, Idaho was crowned the first Arizona Futurity Triple Crown Futurity Champion after winning the PacWest Ringmaster Futurity and placing 6th in the average at the Greg Olson Futurity. All three futurities were held in Arizona during the month of January, 2010. Sue was riding her 2006 AQHA mare, Daisy Duke Dash, by the great Dash Ta Fame and out of Midnight Moon JC by Floyd De Great.
Daisy Duke Dash was raised and trained by Sue and her fiance, Kyle Edwards. Sue is both an accomplished trainer and rider who has not only made a name for herself in the futurity arena, but also quali- fied for her first NFR in 2009 on her 2007 futurity mount, Real Claim Ta Fame, another outstanding offspring of Dash Ta Fame that Sue has trained.
